Who we are

Orchard Manor is a small private rental in Ocișor, Hunedoara county, Romania, operated by Haven. You can reach us at contact@orchardmanor.ro for any privacy question.

What we collect

When you contact us via WhatsApp, phone, or email about a stay, we receive whatever you share with us: typically your name, the dates you want to stay, group size, and any questions or preferences.

From the website itself we collect aggregate, cookieless analytics (page views, country, referring site) via Cloudflare Web Analytics. No personal identifiers are stored.

Why we collect it

We use this information to reply to your inquiry, agree on a booking, host you well, and meet our obligations to Romanian fiscal authorities.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to a direct inquiry, plus contractual necessity once a booking is made.

How long we keep it

Inquiry conversations that do not lead to a booking are retained for up to 12 months after our last exchange, then deleted.

Confirmed booking records (dates, guest names, payment confirmation) are retained for 5 years to comply with Romanian fiscal law.

Who we share it with

WhatsApp messages are processed by Meta as the messaging provider.

Email is processed by our email provider (Google Workspace).

Hosting and analytics are handled by Cloudflare.

We do not sell, share, or send your data to anyone outside of these processors.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your data. Write to contact@orchardmanor.ro and we will act within 30 days.

You can also lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP, Romania's data protection authority.

Cookies & tracking

This website uses no cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. We do not run Google Analytics, the Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracker.
